Awesome movies to look out for in 2007

The new year has just started and I’m already excited about the movies that are going to be released this year. I’ve selected a list of movies that I’d give anything to watch it on the big screen. Well, almost anything.

Incidentally, most of the heavily hyped movies of 2007 are into their third installments.You’ll get to know about it once you complete reading this.

Upcoming Movies :

Ratatouille
Who’s in it? - Patton Oswalt
What’s it about? - A rat, as the name suggests, who wants to become a chef against his family’s wishes.
Why am i excited? - Another animation movie directed by Brad Bid (The Incredibles).

Rush Hour 3
Who’s in it? - Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker
What’s it about? - While in Paris, Lee and Carter inadvertently get mixed up with the Chinese Triad crew.
Why am i excited? - Rush Hour was good.

Zodiac
Who’s in it? - Jake Gyllenhaal
What’s it about? - A serial killer.
Why am i excited? - Its been directed by David Fincher, who gave us Se7en and Fightclub.

The Bourne Ultimatum
Who’s in it? - Matt Damon.
What’s it about? - Jason Bourne races to discover the final mysteries of his past.
Why am i excited? - A Bourne Movie.

Ocean’s 13
Who’s in it? - George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Al Pacino et al.
What’s it about? - Another heist.
Why am i excited? - Al Pacino steps in as the villain and it could get as entertaining as Ocean’s 11.

Shrek 3
Who’s in it? - Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas.
What’s it about? - Shrek not wanting to give up his swamp and become the king.
Why am i excited? - Shrek was awesome & Shrek2 only upped the ante. Not to forget Puss in boots.

Spider-Man 3
Who’s in it? - Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst.
What’s it about? - Spiderman has a lot of enemies to look out for this time.
Why am i excited? - Need i give a reason?

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Who’s in it? - Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley.
What’s it about? - Will Jack Sparrow be rescued?
Why am i excited? - Johnny Depp, Johnny Depp, Johnny Depp

The list of movies mentioned above is very much subjective. If I’ve missed out any other movie(s), do add a comment and i shall see try to include it here. Some of the plot outlines mentioned here have been taken from imdb for the obvious reason that i wouldn’t be able to figure it out until I’ve watched the movie.
