Happy new year 2007

As another year dawns, here’s wishing you prosperity, success & peace in all that you embark upon.

A few of my friends and I had lots of plans for the new year but we had to cancel it as people weren’t available due to unavoidable circumstances. We also didn’t get accommodations in the places we wanted to go. So it looks like we will be trekking on this beautiful hill station ‘Kodachadri’, nestled somewhere near Kollur in Karnataka, in 2007 only.

Anyway, i should be glad i got tickets to my hometown at the last minute and didn’t have to spend the new year rotting all alone in B’lore. My friend came to my place and we celebrated this new year a bit differently

To me, 2006 was good in a few ways and not so good in many other ways. I really don’t want to delve into what went wrong or why things had to go that way. I believe in ‘Everything happens for a reason‘ and no, i am not trying to sound fatalistic here. After having said all that, 2006 had quite a bit of learnings for me and i think i’ve taken them in the right spirit. Its time to move on and look forward to things that are in store for you.
